The Spa Nails

It was my first time going here. I loved the relaxing environment. My daughter and I both got our nails done. They did amazing for my daughter. But for me unfortunately I have had to go back the very next day and then again the day after that. My dip is cracking I’m thinking they are too thin or something else is the matter. I always get dip and this is the first time this has happened. I sit now with 3 more cracked nails and I give up! I feel I’ve wasted my money.

I don’t typically write reviews as I try and understand that not everyone can have a good day, everyday. This was our first time trying out this nail spa and I was very thankful that they could get me in last minute. I got a full set and they are okay, I could tell the tech was rushing but over all, they are fine. I asked when we came in if there is any chance my daughter ( 9 yo) could get hers done as well and expressed many times that if they were too booked, I would just make an appointment for a future time and date. This was her first time and she was so so excited and I wanted her to enjoy it. I showed him the picture BEFORE we got started so he knew what he was agreeing to. He agreed to do her nails and very quickly after he began is when I started to get frustrated. He was visually irritated and when he made a mistake on her finger he literally pat the WET polish with cotton and then get MORE irritated when it just made it worse. He rubbed off the polish, huffed and puffed, and started over. By this point he was over it and rushed through the rest. I paid and didn’t say anything as my daughter kept smiling and so I just let it be, as long as she enjoyed them I did not want to mention it in front of her. But seriously, look at the images I’ve attached. One was the nails she asked for, the other is what she got. Zero effort. Honestly, I would not have left this review if he just said plainly, “this is not in my skill set.” We would’ve have been pleased with polish, no art. Needless to say, I will not be using this tech ever again. The business as a whole was SUPER welcoming but I’ll be looking for a new spot to get mine and my daughters nails done 😏

Really frustrating experience and super unprofessional work. After long time of doing my own nails at home I decided to get it done by professional . She was nice but her work was so unprofessional. Probably she tried to do quick money and she treated another costumer at the same time as me and jingled between us . She didn’t clean my nails or my cuticles (I actually can see a small piece of my old nail polish on the side of the nail). The shaping was super aggressive and she completely mess up the shape of my nail - It's crooked, uneven and broken with chips on the sides. The nail polish is not applied evenly and you can see my bare natural nail on the sides . All my life I was bitting my nails , so I don’t really know how the work needs to be done and what is the correct steps and I couldn’t know up to the end how bad the work was . Let alone the fact that for me getting to a length I can be proud of is a big deal for me and now I need to start over .

Got my nails done today and the man who did my nails seemed like it was his first time doing a gel manicure. The gel polish is all bumpy and thick and the side of my nails have polish on them or they’re filled off. Defiantly don’t recommend going here it sucks! Worst 45$ gel manicure. And not to mention he started giving me a back massage without even asking if that was what I wanted done- like hello… ask a girl if she wants to be touched!

I’ve gone to Sam for so many years. She is an amazing manicurist and pedicurist. She has also done my elderly parents for years, keeping them mobile and active with such good care of their feet!!! There are always extra people that help if I have more people with me they always seem to fit me in whenever I call and however many people I have with me such a great place. I recommend them always ask for Sam.
